The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerful unit that offers an impressive suction and easy automation in a sleek. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests of vacuuming, but overall it did very well. It also includes a wide range of cleaning modes to suit your needs, from the low-power 'Quiet' mode for lightweight debris to the more powerful 'Turbo' mode for carpeted rooms. It also has the capability to remove and reconnect mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.

It has good suction power and can be configured to take photos of each object it picks (i.e. chew toys, Www.Robotvacuummops.Uk socks), and mark them in the app as "not located', so that they will not be picked up again during future cleanings. The photos are secure, and aren't tied to your account.

It's great for vacuuming, but it's not so good in mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped onto the bot's bottom and drags them across the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal which have reservoirs of water, and can automatically wash and attach their mophead.
